update

Hello peeps. Hope the world is treating you as well as it's treating me.

Creepy news- I got a call last night from the president of the pool league, I didn't answer because I forgot that I was playing last week and didn't show up. Oops! I figured he was just making sure that I was going to show up tonight and if not, I would need to get a sub. I'm not showing up tonight but won't need to get a sub. The guy who called me and left the message died last night. I got an email this morning telling me that as well as that the league decided to suspend play tonight. Creepy! I listened to his message this morning and it was a bit freaky knowing that he'd just died.

Date news- The coffee date fell through because of work. The adorable 24 year old asked me out on a date and that happened last Thursday night. It went well, we had dinner at Catalan and then went to RDG/Bar Annie for a nightcap. There, we ran into some of the girls from the party the previous Thursday and ended up hanging out with them. We shut the restaurant down and came across the street to my house for more. It was very amusing, everyone finally left and went home at 2. He really is adorable and so terribly sweet. And, I have no fucking clue what I'm doing going out with someone that age but I really do enjoy his company. We're going out again as soon as I can get a night off. I'm off tonight, but I'm going to the Human Rights Watch Dinner at the Houston Country Club. ZZZZZZZZZ.......... I'm actually thinking it might be incredibly interesting but the adorable boy can't go, he was going to be my date. Oh well, I guess I'll make it through. More later, gotta get dressed and throw on my festive face.
